Yesterday we talked about the different uses for drop stitches.
These elongated stitches are created using multiple yarn overs, and then *dropping* the slack off the needle on the next row.
As the weather is beginning to warm up, it's time to shift to light weight projects with lots of lace.
Well, drop stitches give that lacey feel without the headache of complicated lace charts.

While drop stitches are not the most versatile stitches in the world, they can still be used in many applications.
From scarves to shawls to garments, there are a multitude or patterns that put this humble technique to good use.
