πŸ‘› 5 Knitting Bags To Better Organize Your Projects

A while back I laid out my suggestions for what the perfect project bag might include.

And while people were very interested in this tool, I received an email about my bag choice that got me thinking.

You see I recommended a backpack style bag, to which this person said they could not use. It would put too much stress on their back and shoulders.

That's a good point, so I thought why not highlight some other bag designs that folks are falling in love with on Amazon.

So here are 5 additional bag options you might want to invest in:

MYBAGZINE Yarn Storage Organizer

If you're a sweater knitter or really love working with multiple colors, this might be the bag for you. The yarn organization holes are incredibly useful, and this bag can hold 10 full sized skeins of yarn.

The design is patent pending and it's side pocket is a great place to store some extra needles or knitting notions.

CRAFTISS Knitting Bag

This bag is reminiscent of the needles holders from the 1960s and 70s. While the design is still relatively simple, there are a few features that make this bag stand out.

First is the mini-notions bag which can be attached to the bottom of the main bag. Second is the multiple carrying straps. You can easily swing it over your shoulder if needed. And finally is the removable dividers that can be repositioned inside the bag to organize new projects.

TOGETRUE Small Knitting Sack

Get it 10% Off here

Now if you want to carry around a single skein while you knit, this little sack is a great option. You can easily wrap the drawstring around your wrist for on the go knitting. With a single yarn guide hole, you can keep your knitting from getting tangled.

Plus it comes in a bunch of fun colors!

MYBAGZINE Large Yarn Storage Organization Bag

If you need to carry A LOT of yarn with you, or you like working with thick bulky yarns, this is a great bag for you. There's plenty of pockets, including a couple of clear ones to make it easy to find your notions.

But this is probably the best option for travel, as it has a cutout that slips nicely over your luggage.

Montana West x Lee Tote Bag

I like to have a big project in a big tote next to my couch. That way I can pick it up while watching TV. This tote has beautiful vegan leather details with a classy pinstripe design. Plus it's big enough for a decent sized sweater project.

What more do you need?

Make One (M1R / M1L) Increases

One way to explore increases is through pairing them with their left and right leaning versions.

Today we're looking at the Make One increase, which uses the strand of yarn between two stitches to create a new one.

Norman from Nimble Needles will show you how.
