ποΈ 7 Knitting Podcasts Worth A Listen
It's been a few years, but we're getting closer to finally launching a new podcast.
That's probably still a couple months away, so in the meantime here are a few podcasts we think you might enjoy.
What is it all about?β Gayle and Sharlene have been talking about knitting for over a decade! Their warmth and friendship is as strong as their love of knitting.
What makes it unique?β This is the only podcast on the list that is still audio only. And while we love hearing the topics they explore in each episode, their Pattern Stalking section is our favorite for finding new projects to work on.
What is it all about?β Andrea Mowry is a talented and quite popular knitwear designer. In this podcast she answers questions from her audience about knitting, spinning, and anything else that comes up.
What makes it unique?β Not many podcasts are devoted to Q&A and Andrea displays her knowledge and expertise in every episode.
What is it all about?β Tracie and Jodie are two Canadian sisters who love to chat about all things yarn and knitting (and who knows what else)!
What makes it unique?β There's a reason why many radio shows have two co-hosts. There's just something about listening to two people tell stories and laugh together. These two bring that chemistry to the yarn world.
What is it all about?β Mother and daughter team, Andrea and Madeleine, explore the world of knitting in their web series that feels more like something that should be on TV.
What makes it unique?β Each 90-minute episode features a famous knitwear designer in a long format interview that goes much more in-depth than most other shows.
What is it all about?β Tayler Earl talks about her knitting journey in this part vlog, part review, part everything knitting podcast.
What makes it unique?β A lot of knitting podcasts are mostly about what the host is knitting. This show is more eclectic with some episodes recommending patterns or products, some documenting her progress on certain projects, and others just giving her thoughts on the knitting world.
What is it all about?β Bethany Mulcahy is a knitwear designer out of Belgium who shares behind the scenes of her life and knitting process.
What makes it unique?β If want a casual podcast about life that also has a lot of knitting, then you'll love this. Bethany's videos have a great vibe and make the standard "what's on my needles" style show more entertaining.
This compact fabric shaver rescues pilled sweaters without needing an outlet or a charging cable. The 3 depth settings let you safely de-fuzz everything from delicate knits to chunky blankets, and the 2-inch head covers ground quickly. Small enough to toss in a drawer or suitcase for sweater emergencies at home or on the road.
