📖 5 MORE knitting mystery series to keep you guessing

A while back we featured a few mystery book series that take place in or around yarn stores.

There is a surprising amount of books in this sub-genre. Even more than can fit in this followup.

So if you're into cozy mysteries with some cozy knits, these books might be for you.

Riverbank Knitting Mystery Series by Allie Pleiter (3 Books)

What is it?
For Libby Beckett, opening her charming yarn shop Y.A.R.N. in Collinstown, Maryland, and introducing customers to the joys of knitting and crochet, is the work she was meant to do. Until the yarn she loves is used for murder…

When a famous Norwegian knitting celebrity is found strangled with a skein of red yarn, Libby knows she has to solve a knotty mystery before her new life unravels.

Black Sheep Knitting Mystery Series by Anne Canadeo (8 Books)

What is it?
The Black Sheep Knitters—Maggie, Lucy, Dana, Suzanne, and Phoebe—meet once a week without fail, sharing the varied and colorful skeins of their lives as much as knitting tips, recipes, and small-town gossip, and creating an intricate, durable pattern of friendship. Now a shocking murder has peaceful Plum Harbor, Massachusetts, in knots —and the Black Sheep women must herd together to protect one of their own from a scandalous frame-up.

Needlecraft Mystery Series by Monica Ferris (19 Books)

What is it?
The art of needlecraft requires patience, discipline, and creativity. So, too, does the art of detection. Just ask Betsy Devonshire—who’s learning that life in a small-town needlecraft shop can reveal an unexpected knack for knitting…and a hidden talent for unraveling crime.

This series includes all kinds of needlecraft, not just knitting.

Knitty Kitties Mystery Series by Tracey Drew (6 Books)

What is it?
Tessa Wakefield is a busy woman. Too busy for murder. Between running her cozy craft store, refereeing family drama, and two handsome men determined to drive her to distraction, the last thing on Tessa’s mind is murder.

Until now...

The Knitty Kitties series is set in beautiful New Zealand with a host of quirky characters, plenty of hilarious shenanigans, and more cats and knitting than you can shake a needle at!

Seaside Knitters Mystery Series by Sally Goldenbaum (11 Books)

What is it?
Not long after Isabel “Izzy” Chambers opens up a knitting shop in the sleepy fishing town of Sea Harbor, Massachusetts, a diverse group of women begins congregating each week to form the Seaside Knitters.

When several strange incidents occur above the shop, the women decide to take matters into their own hands. But before long, their small-town sense of security is frayed, and the threat of more violence hangs over this tightly knit community...

Conclusion

So there you have it!

There's bound to be something in these series to keep you on pins and needles...

But what do you think?

It's also great for starting hats from the top, which will come in handy for today's pattern pick.

There are a few variations on this method, but our friends at 10 Rows A Day are killing it with another great tutorial.
